Extractor fan with overrun and pull cord switch
Connection with 3 Wires
Preparation:
neutral conductor N – blue
phase L – usually black or brown
phase LT – usually black or brown
Connection:
The phase L is without a switch and always conducting.
The phase LT is with a switch and conducts if the switch is closed. When the switch (pull cord or lightswitch gets closed, the fan starts to work.
The neutral conductor gets connected to the point N of the fan.
Explanation:
The
fan starts when the switch gets closed (phase LT) or the pull cord switch gets activated. As long as the
switch is activated the fan is working. After opening the switch, the fan
changes into the overrun-mode (timer). After the adjusted time the fan
stops working automatically.
